Tens of millions of Americans lose vision every day, facing ultimate blindness. They are our friends, relatives, neighbors and colleagues.

Hope For Vision springs from the breathtaking scientific progress that has brought cures and treatments in sight. In recent years, scientists have employed genetic treatments to restore full vision to blind dogs, have given vision to the blind using retinal microchip technologies, have begun clinical trials on pharmaceutical treatments to combat retinal degenerative diseases, and have reached dozens of other heretofore unimaginable milestones. Yet much work remains to be done before treatments can become a reality.

To deliver these treatments to the afflicted as quickly and as effectively as possible, we need great Hope For Vision. We need to raise awareness of this daunting challenge faced by millions, and of the groundbreaking science and scientists that have made progress not a question of if but when. We need to celebrate the achievements and support the continuing effort.

Hope For Vision will provide the tools necessary for individuals like you to come together to share a common interest in this cause and to work together to spread awareness and raise research funding. Our initial programs will launch in the coming months.
