Guided by its Board of Visionary Scientists, Hope for Vision provides grants to both up and coming and established researchers. More information about the awards we give, as well as guidelines, deadlines and restrictions are available below.
Hope for Vision supports research aimed at developing treatments and cures for orphan retinal degenerative diseases including retinitis pigmentosa. Visionary Awards are awarded annually, generally for a period of one-year. Awards range from $25,000 to $100,000, and the grant amount is based on the current or potential value of the research to the field of retinal degeneration.
Hope for Vision is in the process of revamping its granting program.
New guidelines will be posted in Fall 2013.
